Dogs For Health

Our dogs and volunteers work alongside professionals to help reduce stress, social isolation and anxiety to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Taking The Lead in Mental Health and Wellbeing in Our Community

Welcome to Dogs for Health! Since 2020, we’ve been a non-profit organisation supporting Frome, Shepton Mallet, Coleford, Westbury, and Warminster. Our mission is to enhance wellbeing through animal-assisted therapy, interventions, and education.

Our dedicated volunteers, with the help of our friendly therapy dogs, visit homes, hospitals, care homes, and schools. We offer support through engaging activities, educational programs, and professional therapy.

Our Services

At Dogs for Health, we’re all about using the special bond between people and dogs to brighten lives and boost wellbeing. Whether it’s a cosy home visit from our friendly pups, helping out NHS staff with some much-needed dog therapy, or joining a relaxed community walk, our services are here to bring comfort, connection, and joy

Paws At The Door
