Hello, hoomans!
My name is Bear, and I’m an 11-week-old cockapoo pup, living my absolute best life. I’m the newest addition to the Dogs for Health team and I thought I’d share a bit about me!
Mornings: The Best Time to Be Excited!
The moment my little eyes open, I am READY. TO. GO. Who has time for snoozing when there are exciting things to sniff, pawrents to greet, and breakfasts to eat? My pawrents always tell me I have a “waggy bottom,” whatever that means—but I just can’t help wiggling all over with excitement!
Rugby & Relaxation
After a good morning zoom around the house, I like to settle in for some serious rugby watching. I’m still figuring out the rules (why don’t they just chase the ball like I try to do?), but I love watching the players run around. Sometimes, I even try to join in by bouncing around the living room.
Adventures & Socialising
One of my favourite parts of the day is heading out to meet new friends. I LOVE people. And leaves. Okay, I love everything, really! Whether it’s being carried round the park or going to the pub, I make sure to introduce myself to everyone with my very best tail wags and happy bounces. I’m a very brave boy—except when it comes to one thing…
The Dreaded Hairdryer
Oh, hooman friends, let me tell you about the horror that is the hairdryer. After a lovely bath (which I tolerate, at best), my pawrents bring out this whirring, puffing, terrible machine that blows air ALL OVER ME. I do my best to escape, but somehow, they always manage to get me dry. I much prefer a nice cuddle on the sofa, where I can bury my head in a warm blanket and pretend the blowdryer doesn’t exist.
Cuddle Time – My Favourite!
At the end of the day, there is nothing better than curling up on the sofa with my pawrents. I nestle in, get belly rubs, and drift off into puppy dreams, probably about chasing rugby balls and making new friends. Life as an 11-week-old cockapoo is busy, but oh-so-wonderful.
So that’s me—Bear the Cockapoo, living my fluffiest, happiest life. I’d love to hear from my fellow furry (or hooman) friends! What’s your favourite part of the day?
Paws and cuddles, Bear 🐾
